Can someone please give me the weight of a stock OEM Soslstice wheel (without tire). Neil was kind enough to give me the weight of the A/X 18x8 light weight wheels Kappasphere is offering.

First I really love the looks of these wheels with their deep-dish rim. But at only 21 lbs, this strikes me as a fairly light wheel. We are talking BMW territory here. I think the light weight wheels for the Miata are about 19 lbs for 17x7s. Most of the light weight 18x8 wheels listed on Tire Rack are over 25 lbs.

The first change I am likely to make is to ditch the OEM wheels for something lighter. If someone has to replace a flat tire or is getting snow tires or something, I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could weigh a bare OEM wheel without the tire for comparison. I would like to know how much unsprung weight I could lose stepping up to these light weight rims.
