I just replaced my plastic steering wheel (convenience pkg. only), with the leather -wrapped wheel. It is an easy upgrade. The DIC and cruise buttons continue to function, of course, and the additional radio controls work as well. I had access to a GM tech, who did it in about 25 minutes. You could easily do it yourself if you have a steering wheel puller. List price is steep, about 245.00, but I got it for 155.00, which was well worth it to me.
