It looks like a pretty good tire for only $163 each.
Have you considered the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3? They're $194 each.
While the BFG beats the G slightly in dry cornering, dry traction, and dry steering response, the G wins all the other categories. The G excels significantly in Hydroplaning resistance, Wet Traction, and Comfort, and stomps the BFG on Noise (BFG is makes a lot of noise).
My girlfriend had noisy tires on her Mustang. When we put new ones on last year, I got a set that are SO much quieter, you wouldn't believe!
I'll be going with the Goodyears when I get new ones.
