The noise in my car is your basic wind whistle through a bad window seal. But after looking at how the top seals - I don't think it is the window seal. I think the noise is coming from the seal between the canvas top and the frame, right near the trailing edge of the side windows.
Since the canvas has to be able to move independant of the frame while folding - I'm not sure what can be done? Increase the tension in the canvas or create some sort of positive seal (magnetic or zip-lock type seal).
Given that this is a convertible, I'm afraid this may be an inheirent short-coming in the tops design. If that's the case - has anyone ever tried the noise-canceling headphones (Bose?) in a convertible? Might be a wise investment for long-distance cruising.
