We use a chemically applied metalizing process. It is actually not chrome at all, rather it is silver, covered with an automotive clear coat. It doesn't matter what type of plastic it is as this process allows virtually any substrate to be done. I have been trying to find a source for the stock, plastic grill inserts. Do you have one? Also, are you saying the stock grills are available from GM in chrome? I can not post prices yet. Hopefully by Friday.
