Definitely drive the car year round..if its your only car...(and if your lucky enough to have an extra car...so much the better)

If there is a lot snow and you have one car.....buy some snow tires and an inexpensive set of rims....(it'll just extend the mileage of your high performance summer setup so the cost is a non event)
