I see your point. I guess you and I come from different schools of thought...I'd rather have little displacement and boost it instead.

I think it's an interesting idea. With enough money and/or elbow grease, I'm sure this can be made to fit and mate the bellhousing.

And if it does in fact weigh less, than it would be a pretty nice alternative. To make it run, I'd guess you would need a new standalone PCM. (What is Werks doing for their LS conversions?) If you do need a standalone, I think getting the displacement on demand feature may be difficult to implement. Even with a reflash of the Sol's PCM you'd probably still not be able to accomodate DOD.
