You might also want to consider modifying(removing and using something else to open the door with) the grab handle on the driver's door to give your left leg a little relief next to the wheel as it is now. It's what sticks out and hits your leg a bit. Looks like a do-able mod that might help.-bird
I like the smaller wheel idea, too.
