Ok, let me help you out;

Picture one shows the are that is being changed. Note that this takes the solinoid completely out of the loop which is what I prefer as apposed to capping off the solinoid.

Take the manifold vacuum line off the solinoid, and connect it to the bov vac reference line with either a straight connector (for those with no aftermarket bov or boost reference required) or with a t-connector, using the secondary nipple on the t-fitting to send a reference to your aftermarket bov or gauge/controller. I used a t-fitting because I have an aftermarket boost controller that requires a boost reference off the intake manifold. The solinoid return/bleed line I just left connected, but I'll probably take it off to clean up the engine bay a little.

This mod is used to allow target boost to be reached quicker. Doubt it gains you any power, etc. The jury is still out if it will cause codes, etc. No doubt the stock tune is using the bov solinoid as well as the wastegate solinoid to control boost throughout the rpm band. However, if are going aftermarket boost control, it is necessary to bypass the stock bov as well.

If you guys really want some free hp (not tested on dyno but in theory), try cutting the front of your airbox open with a dremmel. I cut off all the snorkel and opened up the box like the ram air lids found in trans-am/camaros and it certainly makes a more pronounced sound.

Note that with this bov solinoid bypass, you will no longer get the anemic-squirrel bov noises on every gas tap. Thank god!
