Dncaley, Your review is excellent and your comparison to the MGB is spot on.

My first sports car was a 59 Austin Healey 100-6, you know, the last year before AH went to the luxury of roll up windows. I used to drive it from Atlanta to Detroit and back every two months. In the winter it was common for snow to blow right into the car thru the side curtains. I loved that car but in comparison to the Sol GXP it was like a model T to a Rolls.

I read some of the complaints about the Solstice from our younger members and realize just how much comfort and luxury we have come to expect in our automobiles.
