i had always heard that about slotted rotors, and it makes more sense to me that the slotted would be more likely to crack.
you always see brands bragging that the cross drilled holes are chamfered. once you turn the rotors, the chamfers are gone.
i had a set of crossdrilled rotors on my old Z28 and i didn't have a problem, but i never autoX, either.
