2008 Model Year Changes and Pricing


New 2008 Exterior Colors

-(28U) Brazen (Inferno Orange Metallic) Premium paint – additional charge

-(75U) Sly (Dark Steel Gray metallic) Replacing (42U) Sly Shadow Gray Metallic

-(58U) Magentic (Carbon Flash Metallic (Black-ish)) Premium Paint - additional charge (Limited Spring Promotional Color 2008 only)


New 2008 Standard Equipment

-Direct Tire Pressure monitoring System

-(AZ5) Premium Acoustic Headliner

-(UE1) OnStar (Deleted when Z0K is ordered only on Base Solstice)

-(U68) Driver Information Center with Oil Life Monitor on all models now.

-(U2K) XM Radio (Deleted for credit when Z0K is ordered)

-(US8) AM/FM Stereo with CD player and MP3 playback.


New 2008 Optional Equipment

-(JL4) StabiliTrak, vehicle stability enhancement system, is now available on 2MB67 Base Solstice. Requires and included with (JL9) 4-wheel antilock, 4-wheel disc brakes

-(Z0K) Club Sport Package, now available on Solstice GXP.


2008 Interior Color Changes

-Interior (312) is now Ebony/Sand Leather Seating Surfaces, replacing Steel/Sand. Still only available on the base Solstice.


2008 Option Compatibility Changes

-(JL9) Anti-Lock Brakes requires option (G80) Limited Slip Rear Differential.

2008 Feature Changes / Product Updates

-Optimized Hydraulic Boost (OHB) Brakes standard on 2008 Solstice GXPs.

-2.4L engine receives a new ECM, Throttle Body and MAP Sensor. The Bosch Electronic Throttle Control uses different mounting points on the Intake Manifold and connectors. The Map Sensor also has a new atachment point.

-New Clutch Pedal Position Sensor (CPP) with a new relearn procedure using the Tech 2 hand held scanner, on all manual transmission cars.
