: Make sure your next Solstice has ESC. If you get a GXP, it's standard, but still optional on the base, and worth EVERY LAST CENT to choose that option, IMHO.
ESC is designed to aid the driver even in changing coefficients (like gravel) and has been estimated that making it mandatory may be more effective in terms of saving lives than ABS, Seat Belts and Airbags COMBINED. It does this by reducing the chances of 'off road accidents' from happening by giving the driver a bit more time to get the car under control and aiding in maintaining vehicular stability.
