The new clutch isn't in yet but it has shipped. When we pull the transmission down we're (the NEW shop) going to inspect the install very carefully to see if it was done properly. There could be loose bolts if the installer didn't use loctite on them - and that would cause big vibrations. Spec also said that the billet aluminum flywheel will resonate more sound than the stock unit (but sure shouldn't vibrate).
So, after inspection - if the install looks good and bolts are tight (no obvious errors) I'll assume the Spec stuff is the problem and install the stock flywheel and the GXP clutch. Then I'll need to see if Spec will take their parts back.
Hopefully all is good and I just end up with the new GXP clutch in my collection of parts - or sell on the Forum (GMParts has a 20% re-stock fee).
