I think it's a design problem when even Pontiac Dealers damage your car during a simple oil change. If a Dealer can't get it right how can Pontiac expect independent shops to know about and work around this!
I don't believe this is a "design problem" as there are many "LOW" profile cars out there that need the 'low profile' type lifts to be used on them also - and the "lifting pucks" .... brentil found those on some OTHER car site IIRC.
Its a matter of the techs at each location - either GM/Pontiac or independent to make certain that the Solstice is lifted properly.
I have a friend that has lifted mine on a lift .... no issues. I have had just recently into an independent garage ... again, no issues. Why, because these individuals CARE about the cars they work on and took the extra steps to INSURE the car was lifted properly.
