I'm pretty familiar with stereo installs so I think I'm going to pick this up and do it myself. My question to you is in regards to the Tech 2 programming. I have the correct stereo with XM installed. Once I'm done with the install, what exactly do I tell the dealer's service department that I need done and what to do? I ask because I KNOW I'm going to need to spell it out as I've found that all the dealerships around me really don't seem to be too knowledgable about the Solstice (not kidding).
Do I make an appointment and ask for them to literally do "a Tech 2 programming on my XM equipped stereo"? It should only take 15 minutes? Did they hit you up for that time?
