I thought I would post here in the interior mods section to give them some more exposure.
Here's mine, with swsc enbroidery, and a custom Zune pocket with clear plastic window.
Before you tease me about my poo brown zune clashing, let me say I was shocked when I saw the pics too, it doesn't look that bad to the naked eye. Besides, I'm thinking of ordering one of those vinyl skins for it.
If you wanted to do this with an Ipod, I doubt the wheel sensors work through the plastic, so you would have to do a smaller window, and leave the wheel uncovered. If you send JPM a leather Ipod holder, he can copy it no problem.
Top notch product, quick turnaround, cushy soft under your elbow. This is my favorite mod on my car right now.
