All of the new E-Series such as the E67 used in the solstice/sky and other vehicles pass GM internal spec "GM9109P, Immunity To Electrostatic Discharge" These things are tanks now, hence the reason they are no longer shipped to the dealer in ESD bags but in regular cardboard boxes with some styrofoam packing. This isnt to say ESD still isnt a factor but in the thousands we've done we've yet to see one die from ESD (at least of the new series controllers that is!)
