I was just poking around on Crutchfield's site and set the filter to an '07 Sol and it indicates that both the AVIC-D3 or the AVIC-Z2 don't fit. Do they say that if the unit requires an install kit to dress up the dash? Obviously you have the D3 installed so there isn't a big clearance issue.
