Just my 2 cents.
That was the idea on the bar I have been working on. Like I said I have a cardboard pattern and I took it in to a fabricator for an estimate. The design (to give a quick mental picture) the bars came up through the silver trim peice between the humps, takes an outward bend and folows the hump lines up the insides about 3/4" of the panels, takes another outward bend to a parralel position as it reaches the tops of the humps and out past towards where the top bars would be in the up position then curve back over themselves to a meeting point in the center similar to the top line of the RMR bar low enough to clear the top. Here is a god aweful microsoft paint drawing I just threw together real quick a five year old could have done better.
There are two problems with it:
1. As is with the RMR bar (which I really like by the way guys) good sub frame support for max safety.
2. The guy at the fab shop said it would take an extreme amount of time (AKA LABOR COST) to do all the slight bends and would call for lots of small bend cuts and welded together to make such a small turn radius bend on the outer ends.
End result over a thousand dollars just for the prototype.
So the pattern sits and may get junked though I may try it on my own just because but the actual pattern makes for a nice looking bar that follows the curves IMO.
The real reason I want a bar in there is to mount a camera on.

Holding one up while driving on the club runs is a killer on the arm and not as safe either.
