The S is naturally aspirated. The S has bigger brakes, different gearing and a bigger engine than the base Boxtser.

I have a base 97 Boxster (2.5l) with an TPC supercharger and it puts 322 hp to the wheels. The newer Boxtser Ss have 3.2l motors.

A GXP could probably outrun the base Boxster (would be a close race) but not the S. If its a race through a tight course the Boxster is going to win hands down (even the base model). The kappas have a propensity to have the back end slide out when under Gs and throttle. The Redlines/GXPs are a whole lot better than the NA cars but don't handle as well as the Porsche which isn't a big surprise. Tight handling is Porsche's shtick, no one does it better. Of course with refined handling comes a stiff price tag.
