I am waiting to hear from my dealer also. They were suppose to replace one of my seals last week. Then I heard about the recall, and told them to check on the parts that they had just got in to see if they need to wait on the new version seal. I will know more after the Holidays.

There is no reason that I can think of not to take it in as soon as you can.
As has been mention in several posts ... IF you suspect you have a leak - DO NOT wait until the recall in February!
Take your car to your dealer NOW ... have them inspect it ... just don't let them only replace the pinion seal if that is the issue. (they can't order that part anyway)
They need to order the
KIT now in order to do the repair properly.
