Go to Google Earth and look at the roads in the mountains around a town called Margaretville, NY. I came through there when I did my mountain run with the Solstice.

I wish I would have kept my GPS track from that trip, but from the looks of the satellite images it doesn't matter. We could get ourselves lost in those mountains and have a ball!!!

And it could even be a single day trip!

We should string together a bunch of the nastiest mountain roads we can find and make a run this Spring. AFTER the salt and sand is washed away by Spring rains of course!

If you want to go on a multi-day trip. Take a look at the roads in the mountains in the North Hudson, NY vicinity. Some of them look INCREDIBLE!

And don't get me started on some of the roads you can see in Eastern MA, VT and NH!!!

Xmicro could help us. He must know all those roads. He's lives Upstate.
