Expanding on SD's answer, even cars that have al;ready had one or more seals replaced, even complete differentials, MAY be included to receive the most up to date procedure.

Just for emphasis, the intent to issue has been filed, scheduled for February. When full details have been transmitted to dealers we will know about it as well. Plus each affected
owner of record will receive official notice from GM outline what procedures to follow for inspection and any required repairs.
