It is impossible to tell from what is listed in your "MyGMLink" history and your dealership saw in the GM VIS history.
The labor operation shows that the whole differential was replaced, not a pinion seal, ie CARRIER ASSEMBLY (COMPLETE)-REAR DIFFERENTIAL-REPLACE.
At the same time, the rear differential vnet was serviced per the TSB for a leak, ie INSTALL REAR DIFFERENTIAL HOSE AND VENT (PONTIAC, SATURN).
Not that any of that actually matters.
The parts required to repair a leaking rear pinion seal and the procedure were changed in early December. Revised pinion seal as part of a kit with a pinion yoke and pinion nut. Tweaked procedure, mentioning the draining of the differential before seal replacment could be done. Doubtful that the seal you may or may not had serviced on the 1st of October was the revised seal.
At the current time, your car will need to have the recall procedure performed at some point. It shows that your car is involved in the recall.
As the service rep said, by the time you get the your notification letter, the dealership will be up to speed on what is involved.
