Thanks SD. I'll make an appointment with my dealership when I get the letter. And I agree with you, the entry in My GMLink is really strange. When I picked the car up back in October, they told me how they replaced the fluid, serviced the differential vent (adding the tube), then replacing the fluid again. They said nothing about replacing the entire carriage assembly...weird.
