There are still a few peices missing to make the assembly whole. The boot will be fastened around the lower indented area but most of the shaft will be exposed. The larger flat ring just below the knob is the grip for your fingers to pull up to move it from gear to gear.
All that's left is to weld in a set pin for the disengage mechanism, and get the spring in with the proper resistance for the top portion. I should have it installed by Wed/Thursday of next week. |
That looks really great...so basically the same amount of shaft as the manual one will be noticeable? That is a great design and I can't wait to install mine. Let me know when u want the details of what I want. That black ball is the one I want with engraving on top. Once again, amazing work and contribution to the Solstice community.
