Sorry beecee, I have taken leave of absence from K.U. to take care of my seriously ill minature Dachshund who has a tumor near her brain, that she has had for some time and it has been treated with Kimo-therapy successfully and it is shrinking. However, Mindy has other problems as there is a a suspected cancer near her throat that shows as a shadow on the x-rays. So, all plans for the Las Vegas National Meet are gone. Sorry that I did not answer your topic before now, but I have been taking care of my wonderful Mindy that will be 13 years old on her next birthday. Of course those are our years, not theirs. In dog years she is now over 80. Her sister, Molly is doing just fine, thank you, and somewhat jealous that Mindy is getting all the attention.

Pardon the above off topic comments. If a Moderator wants to throw me out, so be it.

beecee, I believe we were one ot the first to order the Diamond stitch and it is sooooo much better than that hard piece of crap that GM stuck us with. The 1/4 inch padding plus the 2 mm of premium leather give it just enough comfort to be good to go for a long trip. It is still firm, without being cushy. I don't want my arm and elboe in a sauna for gosh sake. For me it is perfect. it is still firm, but with controls. I believe you will like it. I would see if you can drive one at a Meet. I will not be able to attend the Vegas Meet because we have a very sick dog to care for. I will not leave her until she either improves or dies. She has Cancer.

However, down the line we are going to the Southeastern Kentucky Meet. You are more than welcome to drive "Miss Red Eagle" at the meet, if you are planning to attend.

It is really the only way to find out. To answer your question, it does not leave impressions on your arm after a long drive. We have had several including the Meet and Drive in the Country, in Kansas City, that GO DRVN spearheaded. It got rave reviews at the Meet and I loved the way it felt on the 3 hour drive with the group.

Good luck, beecee, in making your decision. As far as I am concerned Joe at JPM is the only way to go!
