I put the combo of Powerslots & Hawk hp on a Cooper s. Both are hard & take a long time to bed-in. Weeks! So throwing on a set of HP+ for the ocassional auto-x Thats 0 bed-in. The contour of the pad isn't going to mate to the<(since the last auto-x)> rotors contour. Take a sharpie to the face of the pads before the auto-x & observe after. Swapping rotors & pads as a unit per wheel solves the garbage truck syndrome because the pads now bite the whole rotor. Now you have real brakes that don't fade as soon.
