I use an electric one that is only reserved for the car. I do not blow leaf dust or other junk with it. After I wash the car, I leaf blow the chrome wheels, then the rest of the car. It does not get all the water off but then I follow up with a waffle weave microfiber towel. Works great with no problems

If I am traveling, I take a california something blade thing. This works good in a pinch but make sure you hose it off good before you use it so you do not drag any dirt accross.

Also, I do not use the sprayer on the hose, just let the water run off the end of the hose onto the car. I read this a while back in the detail section and did not believe it could make a difference. But it did. It does not make sense to me but I am a believer.
