If you are buying a leaf blower just to dry your car, electric is probably your best bet. It'll never wear out and there is no maintenance. (They also work great to quickly clean off your garage floor.)
A gas blower can only spray oil out of it's exhaust, not from the blower nozzle. If this is what you have, just keep the exhaust pipe pointed away from your car!
