You do not need two amps--just the Alpine 4.150. 150 watts RMS per channel up front and bridge the rear two channels for 300 watts RMS for your sub. More than you need and possibly too much power. You do not want to have put an amp in the trunk. Just the one small foot print Alpine behind the driver seat works great and does not tie up valuable space in the trunk. Better ventilation as well.

Russims,

How did you manage the behind-seat-mount for the amp, since the firewall under the trim is anything but flat? Your setup looks very professional. I currently have a JL e430 (driving the tweeters, door, and rear speakers) and a Backfire 230 Watt (driving the sub) mounted in the trunk. I live in Tx and am already having overheating problems with the amps. I have an aviation instrument panel blower set to hook up to provide ventilation, but I am not sure that will be enough and would like to regain my lost trunk space. I have a spare JBL GTO 755.6II amp that would look good behind the driver's seat, but its a pretty large amp and I am hesitant to start cutting on my trim without a firm game plan.
