I haven't looked into the Torque beam retrofit but i thought that actually mounted to the casting of the newer diff... that being said, does 'as designed' mean that there is no obvious mounting hardware on a vert's body for the top or is there more to it? Welding a bracket in would be a snap if that is all it took.
