OK,

Here's the latest update - The long range weather forecast is looking great for the Holiday weekend - Saturn of Danbury is going to be providing Dogs and drinks at their site and a tour of the new facility - There will also be some Saturn freebies given out so don't miss it!

"T" and I did a ride over the weekend on my planned ride up to Hopkins Inn on Lake Waramaug and many of the roads that I had planned to take were under construction. Rte202 and Rte109 and the traffic was horrendous.

Candlewood Lake might be an alternative. It's only about a 1-1/2 hour ride - See Google map below.

It won't be too fast a run as I'm sure there will be a lot of people at the Lake for the holiday weekend. The posted speeds are mostly 25 mph, but it is a pretty ride.

from:84 Federal Road, Danbury, CT 06810 to:Federal Rd @41.433492, -73.411525 to:Candlewood Lake Rd S @41.514671, -73.439369 to:Sullivan Rd @41.533720, -73.425070 to:Candlewood Lake Rd N @41.558402, -73.437530 to:CT-39 @41.531790, -73.479430 to:41.440

If everyone is up for a 3 hour ride and I can find alternatives but don't want to make it too late for those of you coming from a distance.
