This might do the trick.

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described.

Condition/Concern:
If you encounter a Solstice/Sky HVAC system that has erratic operation of the Mode door or the Temperature door, you may need to Re-synchronize the HVAC system.

Recommendation/Instructions:
To Re-synchronize the HVAC you will need to follow the below steps.

1) Turn the key to the run position (Engine NOT running)

2) Turn the first HVAC knob (Temperature dial) all the way to the right

3) Turn the second HVAC knob (Blower dial) all the way to the right

4) Turn the third HVAC knob (Mode position) all the way to the LEFT

5) Now push in on the first knob (temp dial) and the third knob (Mode) at the same time and hold down until the LED's start to flash.

You will notice the HVAC system will now begin to run through all the modes and Re-synchronize both Temperature and Mode door.

GM bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, NOT a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform these technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, DO NOT assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See your GM dealer for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
