As far as CAI I went with GM since I live in CA. and didn't want to take any chances on pas

sing smog down the road. It was really simple.

I want to get a cai but was told it was dangerous because the intake is in the wheelwell and it rains in florida alot and would be bad.. does add that much to the cars power to be worth it for me?

Deepbluegxp is right ,the CAI sits in the front center under the hood. And you can run it with or without the metal flap it comes with to shield off water. It also has a sleeve/sock you can put on the filter to keep it dry. I've ran it w/o the shield and the sleeve/sock and have never had a problem with water. The increase in hp is small. But it does sound and look much better and it gets rid of alot of the ugly stock plastic off the engine. Lets the engine breathe better too.
