That appears to be the way the "factory tune" works.

Nowadays, I just get boost and no funny throttle business, oh yeah and I also get an additional 70 hp at the rear wheels.

Let be drop a wrench into that statement - I believe you, but, that is not the whole story. I ran several times at the strip last year and would always log throttle position and boost along with other PIDS. I had a best of 13.6 and it hit 18 psi going thru the traps with 100% pedal. Our cars goe thru the traps at about (5300 rpm, thats from memory), the boost was actually still climbing at that point. What was also interesting was the car would always go into COT when I hit fourth gear (cat over temp). When this happens the car would go super rich.

Some cars (Audi and BMW for a couple) have an air flow sensor in the front end that reduces the throttle at some preset hp if it doesn't see the a predicted air flow., I wonder if this is what is happening on the dyno, or something similar. My boost was not always that high, for some reason after I put on the Dejon intercooler the boost went up. I think the oem intercooler had too much of a pressure drop across the length of the path.

You are right though, the Westers Tune sure makes things nice and simple. What do you show at the back wheels and what other mods do you have? As long as you are being interrogated, did the boost taper down from 23 to 21 as you approached 6000 rpm, that is the charactertistic of my tune. That little turbo is running out of air.
