finally, 2 months later after i first opened this thread, i got my answer from hahn,(with car sitting at turbo installers shop wating for their 1 week turn around) hahn told me my turbo over heated, & got toasted, aaron says the cause he feels was that the turbo never got sent back for the reflash to 91 octane gas(from 93 octane), & because of this it over heated.(i'm absolutely pissed) if you look at one of my previous posts april 20/07 post #4, it clearly states that it went back for reflash, but hahn wants a postal receipt to prove it. now just where did i put that? in a another post in october, i talk about the turbo having blow-by, hahn answer to that was if it's not blowing the blues, don't worry about it.(within warranty period,but now it's not) well i guess it's time to worry. they tell me they have no record of a reflash, & they keep mentioning something about an ecu upgrade that was done. i don't know anything about this, so my guess is that they did this upgrade, & did not do the reflash to 91 octane gas. so they say it's my fault.
to try to get rid of the pinging through out this ordeal, weve tried high octane gas, twice,(which worked) changed plugs, (which the dealer was not happy doing, because the plugs are longer, the cover does not fit properly & they say moister will get in there) & refashed
iv'e tried to get a hold of bill himself to no availe, iv'e faxed him, told aaron@hahn i want to speak to him, & e-mailed him(but might have e-mail wrong place)
the cost to me to have this turbo kit, totals to $9813.62, & the turbo is no good, so i need another one of those too, i will be posting the break down, & invoices to back this up, but i don't know how to do it, so i will get my son to post it for me(comming soon,new thread)
just to let people know (especially kids) to the true costs of having a kit. iv'e faxed this list to hahn expecting a phone call from bill, but no.
this car i have is off the road, as much as on the road, do to this kit, it might be a good system if you were a mechanic, which i am not, i have to rely on the professionals for this.
so all of this & a locked ecu to boot!
