iv'e tried to get a hold of bill himself to no availe, iv'e faxed him, told aaron@hahn i want to speak to him, & e-mailed him(but might have e-mail wrong place)
the cost to me to have this turbo kit, totals to $9813.62, & the turbo is no good, so i need another one of those too, i will be posting the break down, & invoices to back this up, but i don't know how to do it, so i will get my son to post it for me(comming soon, new thread)
just to let people know (especially kids) to the true costs of having a kit. iv'e faxed this list to hahn expecting a phone call from bill, but no.
this car i have is off the road, as much as on the road, do to this kit, it might be a good system if you were a mechanic, which i am not, i have to rely on the professionals for this.
so all of this & a locked ecu to boot!

Listen, I am very sorry that you are having such a bad experience with your car. Please don't take this post personally, but there are a lot of things that you are saying in your posts from the beginning that don't make sense. I have highlighted those items in this post.
You talk about the re-flash of the turbo, to 91. What about the installer? What was said in those conversations with Hahn about it? It doesn't sound like the installer was the right person for the job. A good installer that has done these types of setups, (and I don't just mean on our cars) should have been able to quickly diagnose the issue before it became a problem. Sounds like all the troubleshooting resulted in things getting broke, instead if he was better experienced situations could have been avoided. Did you have a boost gauge? How about an AFR gauge to monitor A/F ratio?
Enough research and exploration wasn't done before all this was put together. Pinging issues can be easily solved or taken away safely (turning down the boost) before problems like this arise, until the situation has a fix. It doesn't sound like the installer took those steps. MOST KITS ARE NEVER A BOLT AND DRIVE. Some get lucky most don't, and the person buying the kit as well as the installer have to be ready to tackle these situations with KNOWLEDGE and RESEARCH before hand.
It takes failure to learn sometimes and this is one of those situations. A lot of people that do these things to their vehicles learn the hard way, hell I know I've had my share, but along the way, I put things into perspective when doing it again, and researched all the parameters of what could go wrong first, and what the best fixes are. Personally I don't think I would go to an installer that didn't have tuning abilities, or at least have a tuner nearby that could hook up and monitor and change what needs to be changed to make a safe running vehicle. Again please don't take this post personal. Hopefully if there is a next time you will be more prepared.

Ordered the Solstice: Black with leather, steering wheel controls, A/C delete (who needs A/C in a convertible). Custom turbo kit, maybe!
