Just installed my Dejon Intercooler and piping last Thursday, was checking my hose connections this week and noticed I had the same rubbing issue detailed in Go-N-Def's pictures above. Annoying to say the least. I agree with MSG_McKee, this does seem to be a problem for many of the people with Dejon's Intercooler pipes and is something he should probably look into. If the forward facing flange was just a 1/4 to 1/2 inch higher it would seat the forward portion of the tube lower in the engine bay and would keep this rubbing issue from occurring. If not, at least post something disclosing the fact that this may happen and that it might be a good idea to shave down your hood bracket during installation. Anyway, now I've got a ground down hood bracket and a one week old pipe with a big gouge in it.
