I think discount tire's spring thread ( Eibach Springs and Suspension systems ) just solved my mystery as to why I got such a drastic change when I installed the sport springs. I believe now that Kappasphere only sells the N/A version spring set. It is the only one I still see on thier site and matches the drop listed on the attached threads measurements for the N/A model. I have the wrong ones.

The GXP versions may not have been available when I bought them, I don't know but good to know for all interested.
