I don't have PAL yet. I just read this entire thread, though, to see if it will be worthwhile.

One thing I didn't see mentioned, was what version of firmware everyone with issues is running on thier iPods. Could that have any bearing? Most people are sure it's an issue that their dealer or GM needs to work out. Has anyone tried attacking it from the iPod side?
