I did an LS2 conversion to my car. I did it because I wanted a Solstice with a V8, not a Corvette. Believe me, if I wanted a Vette, I could have bought one.

I do have more money in my car than a Vette, but I have something that is very unique. Vette's are a dime a dozen.

Look at the supporting vendor, Peformance Autowerks. They do conversions much cheaper than Mallet. There are some differences though, so you have to do some reading. I bought all my stuff from them and did the conversion with a local shop. If I had it to do all over again, I would have just had them do it. They are about 22K for a conversion with A/C.
