I took my wife's car to the car wash, quietly washing the car by hand. A guy and his girlfriend(?) were vacuuming their SUV, with all doors hatches open, blasting country & rock with ear screeching noise (i.e. no bass at all).
Me being the person that doesn't care for that music, gave them a few "would you mind?" looks, to no avail. So when it was time to vacuum -- opened the trunk, and all doors, and turned up the volume to whatever was on the hip hop station at the time with her 12" subs
DONE.
The moral here? hip hop isn't the only music that people don't want to be subjected to.
