www.jbody.org there is a group purchase on lightweight pulleys for the ecotec engine. They fit the L61 and the cobalt LE5, but the vendor states that because of the dual belt setup on the LNF, the power steering would be eliminated with the crank pulley. If you look at a picture of the front of the LNF, there are two pulleys and two belts on the crank assembly. I thought we all had electronic power steering? Any idea how similar the solstice LE5 is to the cobalt LE5?
If they fit without trouble, these things will be amazing. They shave about two pounds between the two.
They are machined and balanced from stock, not reworked factory units.
Moderators - If I have violated any supporting vendor rules, please feel free to doctor up this post. I mainly want to discern what our crank pulley and accessory system/belt drive looks like. BTW, I have not yet looked under the hood to see this specifically - but i will!
