If you are talking V8 conversion, usually the T56 goes in it's place.
However, some here with tune GXP with over 300 BHP still have the OE transmission.
I have not heard of anybody complaning about it.
Also the drift car from GM uses the 5 speed and is also pushing well over 300BHP.
