About a month after purchasing and mounting Gravana J2 18" Staggered wheels, I noticed a rattling noise coming from the rear suspension. The noise got progressively worse until pedestrians would turn their heads to see what the noise was. I learned that the noise went away under braking. I parked the car and wiggled the rear brake rotors and found that I could wiggle them with my fingers. I took the car to a nearby shop (who dropped and chipped the lip) who told me that the wheels weren't seating properly due to the inside diameter of the wheels hub being smaller than the hub on the car. this caused a gap between the wheel and the rotor. obviously torquing the studs created a dangerous condition with possible wheel cracking etc..
Anyone else had this or a similar problem either with Gravana J2 wheels or not?
