And these are the same people that can't figure out why the American economy is struggling.
Sure some foriegn cars are nice and well built and I wouldn't bash anyone for owning one. I have too.
Forget what others think and be proud to own the car you love and your input into helping our country's survival and independance.
I would much rather purchase a car that (even though may have some parts fabricated in other countries) has given my fellow American working force an opportunity to survive and provide for thier families and know that it was not completely assembled by some machine.
But again I say I am not totaly against owning a foriegn one. In fact I am lookig to buy a used KIA Sportage 4x4 for the winters here but just because I can get it cheap and and I won't care about beating the sucker up so I don't damage my Sol or my Suburban.
The foriegn influence on American cars is not the fault of the majority working force. It is the big wigs looking to get the most profit in thier pockets by farming out the work to cheaper countries and screwing his fellow Americans out of a job to save a few pennies.
It's not just about the car or how nice it may be.
America the beautiful. land of opportunity. Love it or leave it!!! And for God's sake fight for it however you can contribute.
Just my two cents.
