We drove the run Saturday, tasted some good wine, and generally had a good time.

Lunch will be at Sonic. Entrance and Exit are a little easier, and it will most likely be the fastest of the choices, allowing more driving and tasting time.

Castle Hill is probably getting cut. They were not open Saturday, and they have proven difficult to reach to find out when they are open.

Some notes about the wineries:

Jean Ferris has a complimentary 4-wine tasting and a more exensive one that they charge for. In the interest of time, we will limit ourselves to 4.

Talon charges $3 for 3 wines, or $5 for 6. Again in the interest of time I am going to suggest that we limit ourselves to the shorter choice.

Wildside has a complimentary 8-wine tasting. Time will be the limiting factor here. They have a small facility, and if we get there with another group it could be a slow process. This will be the departure point for the early returnees.

Equus Run has two alternatives. For $2 each we can taste 6 wines and keep the tasting glass. This tasting is done in the main tasting area and is subject to delays if they are busy. For $10 each we do our tasting in a private area and get a guided tour of the facility. This option has to be reserved in advance, so I will need a consensus frm the group if we are to choose this option. Based on our experience Saturday, I recommend the $10 option.

Maybe I am the only one reading this thread, but if I am not, I need some feedback.

Also, I need a count of wine tasters and confirmation that they are over 21.
