I do know that the inspection the dealer did to determine whether the top was Plan A or Plan B had to do with looking at the front of the forward weatherstripping, where it attaches to the front of the top frame. This doesn't mean that the forward weatherstripping is the only part that is different. Only that that is probably the easiest place to access for a quick visual inspection and to note a design difference.
